Decontamination work
In the area of decontamination, there is a wide variety of tasks, where BÖHM Transport offers complete solutions. We can divide our processing in three main areas: Clearing, transport, and disposal.
Decontamination work consists largely of big landfills with sedimentation of hazardous materials at the ground water level. BÖHM Transport took part in the clean up of the Fischer landfill, Theresienfeld as well as the Berger landfill in Bad Fischau.
An additional segment is clean up of former industrial sites such as e.g. the port of Korneuburg or the landfill for pickling smut by Schöller Bleckmann. Here, the contamination is in the process of being cleaned up.
Another important aspect is also the revitalization of those contaminated sites by demolishing the old substance and decontaminating, thereby making possible the reuse of these sites.
